Bergbahnen Dachstein West merge with Dachstein Tourismus AG

Following the merger of the Dachstein West, Dachstein Krippenstein, Feuerkogel and Grünberg cable cars under the umbrella brand of Bergbahnen Dachstein Salzkammergut (BBDS), this step is now also taking place under company law. Bergbahnen Dachstein West, which is owned by Raiffeisenverband Salzburg on the Salzburg side, is merging with Dachstein Tourismus AG (DAG), which now also owns all the cable cars and lifts in Gosau, Rußbach and Annaberg in addition to the cable cars on the Krippenstein.

Statement by Rupert Schiefer:

"The merger enables us to now run the company with a management team from a single source, so to speak. The merger will result in new structures that will make us more flexible, faster and more professional and give us the opportunity to act even more in line with our customers' needs."
