For one evening, industry and culture are very close. Experience authentic industry up close and get first-hand information!

On Thursday, September 5, 2024, companies, museums & training centers in the Traunsee-Almtal region will open their doors to visitors and provide an insight into today's industrial activities - including the Feuerkogel and Grünberg cable car!

Music should not be neglected either - a suitable music program has been put together with the support of the Gmunden Festival Weeks. Enjoy an informative evening with music, food and drink!

Program Feuerkogel

Guided tours at the Feuerkogel cable car

1st Guided tour 04:00 p.m.
2nd Guided tour 05:30 p.m.
3rd Guided tour 07:00 p.m.
4th Guided tour 08:30 p.m. (english)

Guided tour:

  • Duration: approx. 1.5 hours

  • Participants: 30 people can take part in each tour!

  • Meeting point: Valley station Feuerkogel cable car in front of the ticket office

  • REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Program:

  • Technical tour of the valley station + pumping station (snowmaking technology)

  • Joint ascent with the Feuerkogel aerial tramway

  • Technical tour in the mountain station

  • Presentation of snowmaking technology (snow cannons), snow groomers and skidoos

  • End of the tour at the mountain station (longer stay possible)

Last descent at 10:00 p.m.*

Extended operating times until 10:00 p.m.! Ride on the Feuerkogel cable car is free if you register for the event!

Guided tours at the Grünberg cable car

1st Guided tour 04:00 p.m.
2nd Guided tour 05:30 p.m. (english)
3rd Guided tour 07:00 p.m
4th Guided tour 08:30 p.m.

Guided tour:

  • Duration: approx. 75 minutes

  • Participants: 30 people can take part in each tour!

  • Meeting point: Grünberg cable car valley station on the 1st floor (in front of the ticket office)

  • REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Program:

  • Technical tour in the valley station

  • Joint ascent with the Grünberg cable car

  • Technical tour in the mountain station

  • End of the tour at the mountain station (longer stay possible)
