Full moon ride | Dachstein Krippenstein

Once a month between July and October, there are once again full moon trips up the Dachstein Krippenstein.

On the full moon trip, you hike together with the "Obertrauner Weisenbläser" from the Krippenstein to the World Heritage spiral and the 5fingers viewing platform and can watch the fascinating natural spectacle, the change when the sun sets behind the Dachstein summit and the full moon slowly rises behind the Krippenstein.

Under the glow of the full moon, you return to the Krippenstein mountain station, where you can stop off at the Dachstein Krippenstein mountain restaurant before embarking on the night ride down into the valley, a very special experience with a unique view of the starry night sky and the twinkling lights of Obertraun and Hallstatt.
